As part of your lease agreement with Zurqui, you are required to provide $100,000 in renter’s insurance liability coverage. This insurance covers the property if there was damage caused by the resident, and/or their guests. We highly recommend all residents insure their personal property inside the unit by adding additional coverage for their contents. You are free to use any carrier you choose, but you must name Zurqui LLC 17260 Jefferson Hwy., Suite D Baton Rouge, LA 70816 as added interest on the policy.

Pets: We accept a maximum of two pets per apartment weighing under 75 pounds each, with a non-refundable fee of $500 per pet.

Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside units and within 25 feet of buildings.

You’re required to have $100,000 in renter’s insurance liability coverage, covering damages caused by residents or their guests. Additional coverage for personal property is recommended, naming Zurqui LLC as an interested party.

Crime has no zipcode, but at Zurqui we have specific measures are in place for resident safety tailored to each property, including extensive exterior lighting packages, and security cameras where available. However, it is your responsibility to remain aware of your surroundings, and take proper actions to secure your personal property.

We do offer termination agreements for those that cannot fulfill the agreed upon lease terms. Termination agreements must be requested to management in writing for approval. You should expect to pay a termination fee based on the lease term balance due, plus forfeiture of the security deposit, and to leave the apartment free of all personal belongings, cleaned, and in move in condition to avoid charges after move out.

  1. Completing the Application: Begin by filling out the application on RentCafe.com and pay the $75 application fee. Every occupant above 18 years old must complete the application. Approval depends on factors like credit history, rental background check, and income (at least three times the rental amount).
  2. Documentation: Prepare to submit your photo ID and proof of income.
  3. Approval Time: Approval typically takes a minimum of 72 business hours, but may take longer in certain cases.
  4. Lease Signing: Upon approval, you’ll sign your lease and pay move-in costs through your RentCafe.com account.
